2008年から2011年までYankeesのスカウトをやってたBill LiveseyをGMシニアアドバイザーに就任させるとの事。

御年72歳。1978～1995年まではYankeesの下でJeter、Mariano Rivera、Pettitte、Posadaらのスカウティングと育成に関わっていたらしい。Mets、Devil Rays、Blue Jaysでもフロントの経験があり、キャリアは申し分ない。

ちなみに息子さんはMarty Brownの下、広島と楽天でコーチをしていたJeff Livesey。
